OurFamilyWizard – A Modern Co-Parenting App

OurFamilyWizard has been a game changer in my co-parenting experience. I’m not going to say that once I ensured our Orders from the judge included a co-parenting app that everything was smooth sailing from that point on. Quite the opposite actually. My co-parent definitely gave herself plenty of time to try and push the boundaries of defiant behavior because someone TOLD HER she had to do something. Yes, she was the type that would purposefully go out of her way to do exactly the opposite of what she was told or ordered to do by someone of authority. It’s even evidence in the messages she would send in a documented co-parenting app.

However, with that being said, once I made some changes with my communications style as well to suit what I knew my co-parent needed to hear (as if she was in control), things did start to smooth out. OurFamilyWizard was instrumental in that process. Not only does it record everything, but it allowed me to be able to point back to very specific conversations, events, etc.. without there being a way to deny it.

If you’re dealing with a high conflict co-parent, it’s definitely something worth considering. If you’re relationship is not a high conflict situation, you may still want to consider a co-parenting app for other reasons. Event scheduling, documented payments, journals and more are really something every parent needs to have, this app just puts them all in one place for you!

Check out OurFamilyWizard and feel free to browse the small video series I did for using OurFamilyWizard above. I would also invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, where I am building a community of single dads and sharing my experiences navigating life as a single dad.
